Aircraft: King Air 350 ID PF772.
Situation:
Takeoff from Rancagua (SCRG) Chile to search for a missing aircraft
on Cordilliera Andes. The search zone is near Chile-Argentina border.
When near to SARE copilot will swicth on automatic heading
indicator. From this time heading indicator will point continuously
toward SARE and you can read distance from it on DME equipment.
With distance and position, to SARE, you'll be able to make
concentric circle covering entire SARE's range. Weather change
rapidly on high mountains and we are the last hope for possible
survivors...
